Deux ans apr\u00e8s New Horizon<\/em> <\/b><\/a>– auquel nous avions attribu\u00e9 une tr\u00e8s bonne note d’ailleurs – The Answer revient sur le devant de la sc\u00e8ne avec un nouvel opus intitul\u00e9 Raise a Little Hell<\/em><\/strong>, toujours chez Napalm Records. Changement d’ambiance pour la formation venue d’Irlande du Nord et \u00e7a se voit d\u00e8s la pochette. Le groupe semble vouloir remonter le temps jusqu’au ann\u00e9es 70 avec une typographie orange psych\u00e9d\u00e9lique et un petit personnage aux cheveux longs (ceci dit, c’est une parfaite repr\u00e9sentation de la chevelure de Cormac, le chanteur du groupe) v\u00eatu d’un patte d’eph’.<\/p>\n

Et cette ambiance qui fleure bon le flower power se retrouve tout au long de Raise a Little Hell<\/em><\/b>, qui sonne comme un hommage aux plus grands groupe de l’\u00e9poque, tels que Led Zeppelin ou Aerosmith. Mais c’est avec une petite touche d’ AC\/DC\u00a0 – groupe dont ils ont fait la premi\u00e8re partie – que l’on ouvre le bal : le titre Long Live The Renegades<\/em> et sa tonalit\u00e9 hard rock est du concentr\u00e9 pur tube avec des ch\u0153urs, un refrain tr\u00e8s entra\u00eenant et une superbe intro. Et des tubes, il y en a plein, dans ce Raise a Little Hell<\/em><\/b> !\u00a0 Cormac et sa bande ont le sens de la formule, et de l’euph\u00e9misme : on ne remue pas vaguement l’enfer, on lui fait vivre un v\u00e9ritable s\u00e9isme ! Pour la touche d’originalit\u00e9, on \u00e9coute The Aristocrat<\/em> et son solo d’harmonica (oui, vous avez bien lu !)\u00a0 \u00e0 couper le souffle. Un titre que Steven Tyler n’aurait pas reni\u00e9. Whiplash<\/em> et I Am What I Am<\/em>, titres Hard Rock de qualit\u00e9, font suite \u00e0 la superbe ballade accoustique Strange Kinda’ Nothing<\/em>. Cormac Neason est en grande forme, et c’est avec plaisir qu’on retrouve son groove unique et son timbre arrach\u00e9. S’il y a un petit b\u00e9mol, il faut le chercher du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la ballade Gone Too Long<\/em>, un titre moins accrocheur que le reste de l’album. Si vous \u00e9tiez fan du groupe, en particulier de leurs tous premiers albums, Raise a Little Hell<\/em> <\/b>est fait pour vous. Si vous n’\u00e9tiez pas fan aussi, de toute fa\u00e7on.<\/p>\n
