Et bien, c’est un style tr\u00e8s particulier bas\u00e9 sur un rythme abasourdi et tr\u00e8s lent allant \u00e0 la rencontre du Stoner, du Sludge et du Doom.<\/p>\n

Originaire de Caroline Du Nord, Weedeater nous sorte un troisi\u00e8me album intitul\u00e9 \u00abGod Luck And Good Speed\u00a0\u00bb. La saturation des instruments est \u00e0 son maximum, le tempo est toujours le m\u00eame tout au long de l’album cr\u00e9ant ainsi une ambiance obscure et confuse. La voix de Dixie Dave criarde, sombre et rocailleuse, ne co\u00efncide pas du tout avec le style propos\u00e9. N\u00e9anmoins, le tout refl\u00e8te un aspect \u00e9m\u00e9ch\u00e9, avide et hypnotique.<\/p>\n

On peut entendre quelques sonorit\u00e9s typiques du rock’n’roll am\u00e9ricain. D’ailleurs, la reprise de Lynyrd Skynyrd \u00abGimme Back My Bullets\u00bb nous donne envie de se tr\u00e9mousser, mais \u00e0 la vitesse d’un zombie. De plus, sur cet album, une chanson jou\u00e9e au Banjo intitul\u00e9e \u00abAlone\u00bb exprime un attachement \u00e0 leurs racines, et une outro compos\u00e9e en int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de piano donne la chair de poule. A l’oppos\u00e9\u00a0 du rythme, ils varient les instruments.<\/p>\n
