Il est loin le temps Santuary se faisait produire par Dave Mustaine\u2026 Depuis, ils ont continu\u00e9 avec Nevermore, Warrel a combattu ses d\u00e9mons et gagn\u00e9\u2026 Ils reviennent maintenant en force avec \u00ab\u00a0The Year the Sun Died\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

12 titres dont une reprise des Doors, \u00ab\u00a0Waiting for the Sun\u00a0\u00bb. L\u2019opus commence d\u2019entr\u00e9e avec un \u00ab\u00a0Arise and purify\u00a0\u00bb qui donne le ton de l\u2019ensemble de ce chef d\u2019\u0153uvre, n\u2019ayons pas peur des mots\u00a0! Du thrash, des passages plus m\u00e9lodiques, la voix qui s\u2019envole\u2026 un peu comme si ces 25 ans n\u2019avaient jamais exist\u00e9s. \u00ab\u00a0Let the serpent follow me\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Exitium\u00a0\u00bb, \u2026 autant de titres qui n\u2019ont rien \u00e0 envier \u00e0 leur pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs. Les musiciens sont au top de leur forme, les guitares s\u2019envolent, la voix de Warrel montre l\u2019\u00e9tendue de sa gamme, du thrashisant \u00ab\u00a0Frozen\u00a0\u00bb au plus m\u00e9lodique \u00ab\u00a0I am low\u00a0\u00bb. Puis l\u2019auditeur peut reprendre son souffle avec le magistral \u00ab\u00a0One final day (sworn to believe)\u00a0\u00bb avant de repartir sur un \u00ab\u00a0The World is wired\u00a0\u00bb qui nous en met plein les oreilles et ceci jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fin.<\/p>\n

La parenth\u00e8se Nevermore (bon d\u2019accord, une grande parenth\u00e8se) leur a apport\u00e9 l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et la maturit\u00e9 qu\u2019ils avaient commenc\u00e9es \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir avec Sanctuary pour nous offrir ce troisi\u00e8me album. Produit par Zeuss (Hatebreed, Whitechapel), je ne trouve aucun d\u00e9faut\u00a0: bonne production, la pochette est de plus bien sympathique et plut\u00f4t belle.<\/p>\n
