Second album et grosse pression pour le trio franco-anglais Lizzard dont le premier opus \u00ab\u00a0Out Of Reach\u00a0\u00bb avait \u00e9t\u00e9 acclam\u00e9 par les critiques du monde entier lors de sa sortie en 2012. Le moustachu l\u00e9gendaire Carmine Appice a m\u00eame dit d’eux qu’ils \u00e9taient \u00ab\u00a0the coolest band he had heard in ages\u00a0\u00bb. Quand m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Avec \u00ab\u00a0Majestic\u00a0\u00bb, pas le choix, il faut transformer l’essai.<\/p>\n

La pochette de l’album est moins bien. Mais on est principalement l\u00e0 pour la musique, alors on ne se laisse pas d\u00e9courager par les apparences ! Si vous \u00e9tiez des fans de la premi\u00e8re heure, vous allez retrouver leur son m\u00e9lancolique et la voix tendrement rauque de Mathieu Ricou. le premier titre \u00ab\u00a0Vigilent\u00a0\u00bb, sonne d\u00e9j\u00e0 comme un tube, \u00e0 l’instar du tr\u00e8s accrocheur \u00a0\u00bb The Roots Within\u00a0\u00bb, avec son intro un peu stoner rock. Le prochain \u00e0 les f\u00e9liciter sera sans doute Josh Homme ! Les riffs de \u00ab\u00a0Only One\u00a0\u00bb sont ent\u00eatants et appellent un passage oblig\u00e9 par le bouton \u00ab\u00a0repeat\u00a0\u00bb. La ballade instrumentale \u00a0\u00bb Just a breath\u00a0\u00bb est techniquement irr\u00e9prochable. Un bel album, qui se termine en beaut\u00e9 avec le classique et efficace \u00a0\u00bb Falling in zero\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Plus cr\u00e9atifs que pour leur premier album, les Lizzard sont fid\u00e8les \u00e0 leur univers influenc\u00e9 par Tool, Audioslave et par une petite touche de Nickelback.\u00a0 Aucun doute, \u00ab\u00a0Majestic\u00a0\u00bb va mettre vos petites (ou grandes) oreilles de tr\u00e8s bonne humeur pour cet automne.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
