Neanderthal. Quand on parle de ce stade de d\u00e9veloppement de l’Homme, on visualise un individu au front et au menton fuyants et dont l’intellect n’est pas le fort. C’est une image fausse, mais vivace dans l’imaginaire. Bref, je m’\u00e9gare peut-\u00eatre. Tout \u00e7a pour te dire que l’album Neanderthal d’American Dogs colle au clich\u00e9\u00a0: avec ses10 titres, dont une reprise du morceau \u00ab\u00a0Dog eat dog\u00a0\u00bb, on n’est pas vraiment dans l’enrichissement de l’intellect\u00a0! Au contraire, le Hard Rock des Chiens Am\u00e9ricains est basique. Les th\u00e8mes abord\u00e9s sont simples\u00a0: biture, femmes faciles et rigolade. Pas de prise de t\u00eate, sinon \u00e7a saigne\u00a0!!<\/p>\n

Certains titres sont suffisamment bien \u00e9crits pour te rester en t\u00eate et \u201cWe Ain\u2019t Gonna Not Get Drunk Tonight\u201d peut tr\u00e8s facilement devenir la r\u00e9ponse ad\u00e9quate au fameux\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0ce soir, je rentre pas tard\u00a0!!\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le groupe revendique clairement ses affiliations \u00e0 \u00e0 Motorhead et \u00e0 Ted Nugent, il reprend d’ailleurs son classique \u00ab\u00a0Dog eat dog\u00a0\u00bb, et on peut \u00e9galement rapprocher la voix de Michael Hannon de celle d’Alice Cooper par moments.<\/p>\n

Cela \u00e9tant pos\u00e9, je dois tout de m\u00eame t’informer que cet album ne renouvellera pas le genre. Il applique les bonnes vieilles recettes Hard Rock, on appr\u00e9ciera le boulot, mais il n’y a rien de neuf, et si j’\u00e9tais m\u00e9chante, je dirais m\u00eame que \u00e7a sent l’essoufflement. Mais je ne suis pas m\u00e9chante et je t’encourage, si tu aimes le Hard Rock, \u00e0 jeter une oreille sur le 7\u00e8me rejeton de ces lascars, d’autant plus que cet album a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9cout\u00e9 et approuv\u00e9 par le chef, ce qui est assez rare pour \u00eatre mentionn\u00e9 ici\u00a0! <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
