Le 4<\/span><\/span>\u00e8me<\/span><\/span><\/sup> opus des Su\u00e9doises s’ouvre sur un morceau vengeur et revendicatif, \u00ab\u00a0I sell my kids for Rock n’ Roll\u00a0\u00bb, une bonne introduction aux 10 titres qui t\u2019attendent juste apr\u00e8s.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

En effet, il semble que par cet album, le groupe donne une r\u00e9ponse aux remarques plus ou moins ineptes qu’elles pourraient avoir entendu quant \u00e0 leur travail ou \u00e0 leur place de femmes sur la sc\u00e8ne Metal. Ainsi, \u00ab\u00a0I sell my kids for Rock n’ Roll\u00a0\u00bb est une r\u00e9plique cinglante et ironique aux clich\u00e9s autour de la fille facile, groupie ou artiste, celle qui pr\u00e9f\u00e8re sortir plut\u00f4t que tenir sa place au sein du foyer. Mais le propos de la chanson est pr\u00e9cis\u00a0: c’est bien cette nana-l\u00e0, aussi scandaleuse soit-elle, qui est sur sc\u00e8ne, pas le m\u00e9disant qui crache son fiel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Le deuxi\u00e8me morceau d’In the Red est tout aussi bien ass\u00e9n\u00e9\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0To kill a man\u00a0\u00bb pose le sujet du viol. Ce titre est d’ailleurs repris dans une compilation propos\u00e9 par un parti f\u00e9ministe su\u00e9dois, Feministiskt Initiativ (F!). Toutes les infos, en su\u00e9dois, sont l\u00e0 si \u00e7a tt’int\u00e9resse :\u00a0http:\/\/feministisktinitiativ.se\/valskivan-f\/ <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

J’imagine que l\u00e0, peut-\u00eatre, je te lasse avec ces propos f\u00e9ministes. Dommage. Alors, n’aies pas peur, il y a aussi des titres pour satisfaire ton envie de Rock n’ Roll festif, comme avec \u00ab\u00a0Electric\u00a0\u00bb. Et bien, c’est au m\u00eame niveau que les textes. P\u00e9chu, rythm\u00e9, rageur, sans temps mort. Du bon Heavy comme on l’aime. L’artwork, sign\u00e9\u00a0Erik Rovanpera<\/span>, est l\u00e9ch\u00e9, tout en contraste noir et rouge, avec un aigle rappelant l’\u00e8re sovi\u00e9tique. \u00ab\u00a0In the Red\u00a0\u00bb, c’est pour le rouge indiquant le maximum sur le petit \u00e9cran de contr\u00f4le des ampli, quand on pousse le son \u00e0 fond. On le retrouve sur la pochette d’ailleurs. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
