Et, si vous avez eu la chance de le voir dans les pays anglophones, vous avez d\u00fb assister \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de fausses bandes-annonces entrecoupant les deux films (car un certain producteur, que l\u2019on peut comparer \u00e0 un anus non torch\u00e9 apr\u00e8s une gastro, a jug\u00e9 bon de ne pas offrir lesdites bandes-annonces aux pays non anglophones, et oui c\u2019est Harvey Weinstein). Parmi ces trailers, trois ont donn\u00e9 vie \u00e0 un long m\u00e9trage\u00a0: <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Machete<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Hobo with a shotgun<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> et enfin <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Thanksging<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">Et cette fausse B.A. ainsi que le film ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par Eli Roth, qui se voulait le nouveau sale gosse du cin\u00e9ma d\u2019horreur, mais dont la carri\u00e8re sera surtout celle d\u2019un pr\u00e9pub\u00e8re qui fait sa crise. Certes, ses premiers films tel que <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Cabin Fever<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, et surtout <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Hostel 1 &amp; 2<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> sont une belle d\u00e9monstration de l\u2019app\u00e9tence d\u2019Eli Roth pour le gore et le sale. Cela dit, m\u00eame si ses premiers films \u00e9taient assez fun \u00e0 regarder, avec des sous-textes plut\u00f4t int\u00e9ressants dans <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Hostel 2<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, on ne peut pas dire que, en tant que r\u00e9alisateur, on soit proche d\u2019un Sam Raimi. Et le reste de la filmographie ne fera que le confirmer\u00a0: <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Green Inferno<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Knock Knock<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> et <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Death Wish<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> ont \u00e9t\u00e9 des \u00e9checs critiques et commerciaux. Du coup, il tente un retour aux sources en adaptant sa fameuse fausse B.A. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Thanksgiving<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, avec une intention bien pr\u00e9cise\u00a0: rendre hommage aux slashers post-<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Scream<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, qui ont pullul\u00e9 dans les vid\u00e9oclubs au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000 comme <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Souviens-toi l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> ou<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i> Urban Legend<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">. Et si je vous disais qu\u2019il a (un peu) r\u00e9ussi\u00a0?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">D\u00e9j\u00e0, le film \u00e9tonne par ses vingt premi\u00e8res minutes, o\u00f9 il est plut\u00f4t question d\u2019une critique tr\u00e8s acerbe du Black Friday, avec toutes les d\u00e9rives que cela entra\u00eene. Vous avez de bons gros Ricains d\u00e9biles, consommateurs, pr\u00eats \u00e0 \u00e9craser des gens juste pour avoir un gaufrier gratuit, qui se retrouveront les victimes du tueur de Thanksgiving. Eli Roth voulait d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9noncer les d\u00e9rives du capitalisme avec les <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Hostel<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, mais avec la \u00ab\u00a0subtilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019une otarie bourr\u00e9e \u00e0 la bi\u00e8re. Ensuite, je disais plus haut que le film s\u2019inspirait \u00e9norm\u00e9ment des slashers, h\u00e9 bien l\u00e0 tout y est\u00a0! Les adolescents compl\u00e8tement abrutis qui n\u2019existent que pour se faire trucider\u00a0? Pr\u00e9sent\u00a0! La petite ville am\u00e9ricaine tranquille qui poss\u00e8de un pass\u00e9 tragique\u00a0? Pr\u00e9sent\u00a0! Le tueur masqu\u00e9 qui va faire preuve d\u2019imagination pour d\u00e9chiqueter la moindre victime\u00a0? Pr\u00e9sent\u00a0!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">Le probl\u00e8me, c\u2019est que Eli Roth n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 reproduire des s\u00e9quences venant d\u2019autres films pour s\u00fbrement \u00ab\u00a0rendre hommage\u00a0\u00bb, comme la premi\u00e8re sc\u00e8ne du film qui est litt\u00e9ralement l\u2019intro d\u2019<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Halloween<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, des situations qui rappelleront <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Destination Final<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> (mais qui est \u00e0 pleurer de rire), et bien d\u2019autres similarit\u00e9s. C\u2019est bien simple\u00a0: hormis ces fameuses vingt premi\u00e8res minutes, le film sera totalement en pilotage automatique, sur l\u2019autoroute du d\u00e9j\u00e0-vu en passant par la station du clich\u00e9&#8230; sauf que, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Machete<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, tout \u00e7a est totalement volontaire avec une bonne dose de gore qui est le bienvenu. Car qu\u2019est-ce qui fait un bon slasher post-<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Scream\u00a0<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">? Des acteurs totalement en roue libre (mention sp\u00e9ciale \u00e0 Nell Verlaque qui a tout le temps la t\u00eate de la nana \u00e0 qui on a annonc\u00e9 la peine de mort), une sous-intrigue polici\u00e8re dont on se fiche royalement, un twist qui te fait ni chaud ni froid et, quand Eli Roth rajoute sa dose de crasse, de gore, de sang et de tripaille, h\u00e9 bien le tout s\u2019av\u00e8re plut\u00f4t fun malgr\u00e9 ses d\u00e9fauts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Liberation Serif, Times New Roman, serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Thanksgiving<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> n\u2019est absolument pas un chef d\u2019\u0153uvre ou un renouveau du genre. Si vous devez conserver vos 10 \u20ac pour autre chose, gardez-les. Mais il arrivera \u00e0 vous tirer quelques rires bienvenue par son gore d\u00e9complex\u00e9 et ses situations absurdes (je ne me suis pas remis de la sc\u00e8ne du d\u00e9fil\u00e9 qui m\u2019a caus\u00e9 un \u00e9norme fou rire), qui combleront le d\u00e9faut de trop vouloir faire 90\u2019s au point d\u2019oublier avoir une identit\u00e9 bien \u00e0 lui. Ce n\u2019est pas grand-chose mais, quand on voit comment se porte l\u2019horreur US apr\u00e8s les catastrophiques <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Exorciste\u00a0: D\u00e9votion<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>Five Night At Freddy<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"> et <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\"><i>La Nonne 2<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif\">, Eli Roth a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 pondre quelque chose de l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieur, et c\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pas mal.
