Signe qui ne trompe pas, Le Parisien titrait la veille\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0<em>L\u2019ex-chanteur des Hanoi Rocks se produit pour la premi\u00e8re fois mardi prochain \u00e0 Paris<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb avant de relater le concert le lendemain. Plusieurs raisons \u00e0 cet engouement\u00a0inattendu : le caract\u00e8re plus qu\u2019attachant de l\u2019individu\u00a0; un album inesp\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 ce stade d\u2019une carri\u00e8re en dents de scie (euph\u00e9misme)\u00a0; une \u00e9poque r\u00e9tive (probablement pour toujours cette fois, les Beatles n\u2019apparaitront pas l\u2019an prochain ni m\u00eame dans deux ans) au Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll. Port\u00e9 par une dynamique qu\u2019il n\u2019a vraisemblablement jamais connu auparavant, le d\u00e9gingand\u00e9 se retrouvait \u00e0 nouveau porteur d\u2019espoir, au moins pour l\u2019espace d\u2019une soir\u00e9e\u00a0: celui d\u2019animer ou de r\u00e9animer la flamme, ou les flammes (celles du Rock d\u00e9cadent de 1973, du Punk de 1977, du Glam Metal de 1984, etc\u2026). Salle perch\u00e9e sur les hauteurs de M\u00e9nilmontant, mais n\u2019ayant n\u00e9anmoins pas connu les ann\u00e9es folles des genres (\u00e9tablie en 2003), La Maroquinerie semble l\u2019endroit idoine pour ce bain de jouvence, quelques heures apr\u00e8s le passage \u00e0 l\u2019heure d\u2019hiver. L\u2019ambiance est chaleureuse et l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement affiche quasi-complet. Une moyenne d\u2019\u00e2ge d\u00e9passant la quarantaine, nulle d\u00e9gaine extravagante aux abords et \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de l\u2019enceinte, quelques cigarettes pr\u00e9cautionneusement \u00e9cras\u00e9es dans deux-trois cendriers dispos\u00e9s sur les tables du patio, des smartphones tendus \u00e0 bout de bras devant la sc\u00e8ne, peu de convives en \u00e9tat second, rappellent opportun\u00e9ment que le vingti\u00e8me si\u00e8cle s\u2019est en all\u00e9 il y a presque deux d\u00e9cennies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Suspendu \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00eame-gauche de l\u2019estrade et agrippant d\u2019une main une colonne tel Linus sa couverture, au risque de faillir sur un Pool informel de photographes (pas de Crash-barri\u00e8re \u00e0 la Maroque), l\u2019auteur de ces lignes ne veut pas louper une miette de l\u2019entr\u00e9e en sc\u00e8ne de la vedette. Ainsi que de son vrai-faux groupe. Lesquels d\u00e9boulent sous les hourras, peu apr\u00e8s les neuf heures du soir r\u00e8glementaires, sur \u00ab One Man Gang \u00bb premier morceau du dernier album \u00e9ponyme. Et bien nomm\u00e9, tant ledit groupe vit la coh\u00e9sion. Galures glamo\u00efdes sur la t\u00eate, Steve Conte et Sami Jaffa \u00e9paulent leur patron et complice sur ses flancs gauche et droit. D\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res secondes de cette ritournelle endiabl\u00e9e, quelque part entre \u00ab Rocks Off \u00bb des Stones et \u00ab I wanna be Loved \u00bb, Michael Monroe fonce au-devant (se colle, se frotte, s\u2019agglutine, fusionne, fait l\u2019amour, etc\u2026) de son public. Comme un d\u00e9sir de rattraper les ann\u00e9es foutues. Impression et gestuelle confirm\u00e9es lors du g\u00e9nial Tube \u00ab Last Train to Tokyo \u00bb, d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 sa passion pour Yamato. Trois jeunes femmes japonaises sirotent d\u2019ailleurs sagement un soda aux premiers rangs, et accessoirement s\u2019offrent un bain de vapeur aux effluves occidentales. Car il fait d\u00e9sormais tr\u00e8s chaud au sous-sol de la rue Boyer et le premier \u00e0 transpirer est le chanteur lui-m\u00eame. Affut\u00e9 tel un makhila Basque, le regard per\u00e7ant faussement mena\u00e7ant, Michael Monroe va tout donner \u00e0 des Glameurs d\u00e9froqu\u00e9s et aux n\u00e9ophytes. Perp\u00e9tuellement en mouvement, d\u00e9monstratif et kinesth\u00e9sique, le Frontman ne parviendra toutefois \u00e0 d\u00e9clencher de Pogo ou de mouvement de foule, l\u2019assistance ravie pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant chanter et prendre des clich\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">D\u00e9concertant professionnel, l\u2019\u00e9maci\u00e9 Finlandais va n\u00e9anmoins aligner deux heures durant les futurs classiques, pourtant issus d\u2019un disque seulement \u00e2g\u00e9 de dix jours\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Junk Planet\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Midsummer Nights\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab Black Ties and Red Tape\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Hollywood Paranoia\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Low Life in High Places\u00a0\u00bb (en rappel)\u2026 Le tout dans une stricte observance de la tradition Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll\u00a0: foulard \u00e0 \u00e9toiles arnach\u00e9 au pied de micro (fa\u00e7on Steven Tyler ou Vince Neil), chapeaux divers (dont un de capitane de marine, Gay \u00e0 ravir), mise \u00e0 contribution des retours, \u00e9ventail japonisant\u2026 Sa touche ultime demeurant l\u2019usage du saxophone ainsi que de l\u2019harmonica, alternant l\u2019un et l\u2019autre \u00e0 ses l\u00e8vres lorsque qu\u2019il ne chante pas (s\u2019il a commis des exc\u00e8s, ils ne devaient gu\u00e8re \u00eatre tabagiques\u2026)\u00a0: un des points forts de son premier Combo, Hanoi Rocks, dont trois titres seront repris aux alentours de l\u2019heure de jeu (\u00ab\u00a0Motorvatin&rsquo;\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Don&rsquo;t You Ever Leave Me\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Malibu Beach Nightmare\u00a0\u00bb)\u00a0; ainsi que de son autre et inaper\u00e7u groupe de 1994, Demolition 23, \u00e0 l\u2019honneur pour deux brulots (\u00ab\u00a0Nothin&rsquo;s Alright\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Hammersmith Palais\u00a0\u00bb distribu\u00e9s en rappel). Peu avant, le brulant harmonica de \u00ab\u00a0Dead, Jail or Rock&rsquo;n&rsquo;Roll\u00a0\u00bb, le seul v\u00e9ritable Hit (\u00e0 ce jour) du Performer, aura raisonn\u00e9. Final fa\u00e7on Guns\u2019n\u2019Roses au Ritz en 1988. Les Stooges seront ultimement repris (le morceau \u00e0 propos de l\u2019ann\u00e9e qui f\u00eate son cinquantenaire en 2019). Et reste une question\u00a0: quelle suite apr\u00e8s\u00a0?
